Thanks for responding eykis9! :D I'm glad to hear some positive feedback! I'm going to order some as soon as I get paid. The only place I really buy on-line is Drsfostersmith.com (great prices, and a huge variety) I was gonna buy some next week, but you have convinced me even more. It's...

    Ctenopoma Ansorgii

I have one of these little guys. There is very little info available on them. I know he likes dark places to hide, and he is very shy. I would like to try and give him a more natural environment. I'd also like to find him some suitable tank mates. I am looking for any info and/or...

    Anemone fish

I found the fish that I saw in the pic. It is a Domino Damselfish. It will enter into a relationship with Stichodactyla species (Carpet Anemone) if one is available. Could a Clownfish and a Domino Damselfish inhabit the same tank? I have also heard some crazy things about Carpet Anemones...

    Anemone fish

I have become very interested in the relationship between a clownfish and an anemone. I have a question regarding other similar fish in saltwater. Are there any other fish that are similar in anyway? I ask because I saw a picture in a National Geographic Magazine with another fish in an...

If you had a 100 gallon tank

Now that is a good question. The biggest tank we currently have is a 55, with mainly cichlids, so a 100 gallon tank would be like huge. I would get one of the Rift Lake Eels. Right now it is just a dream, but one day it will be a reality. Either that or I would go saltwater. Jen :multi:

    Anenomes

Thanks for all of the information everyone. I really appreciate it!! I am looking into other alternatives to anemones now. I don't want to possibly harm any living thing. As exciting as it would be to see a pair of clowns with the Anemone it's just not worth it, if the Anemone would be put at...

Betta and female betta neighbour- ok ?

Females bettas can grow up to 3 inches. Basically it works the same way as the freshwater fish rule. 1 inch of fish per gallon of water. Some female bettas do have personality clashes. I had a 20 gallon long with six female bettas before my fluke outbreak. They all got along great. I gave...

    Anenomes

I would really like to have an anenome. I have read a little and plan on reading alot more about it. I'm curious to if there is one good for a beginner. I don't plan on just running out and buying one, and I have read that the two species that Clownfish prefer are the hardest to keep. I'd...

    Java moss?

I had some Java Moss in my tank with my catfish, and they made a mess of it, and it turned brown. Shortly after thought most of it just got sucked up into my filter. Once it turns brown and starts to fall away from the ball it is pretty much hopeless. :( Jen :multi: Then again.....some did...

Have you seen Disney's Finding Nemo?

My husband and I went and saw it when it first came out. Not exactly what I thought it would be, but it was still cute. I loved the aquarium. The fish had such character. Makes me wonder what my fish are talking about in there? Jen :multi:
