When Kirby (my bristlenose) came down with ick, I tried the heat treatment, I also used maracyn, maracyn two and maracide. Fortunately Kirb is still with us today. She seems to be doing well. What were your water params??

I don't think it's particularly new, as I was referred there by a friend of a long-time avid aquarist who's been in using them for quite some time. That place is AWESOME, like I said, it's a little pricey, but they have a lot of really neat stuff you won't see anywhere else.

yes, the white spot thing is ich, however make sure it's based on formalin (active ingredient) I'll have to look through my stuff to see what medications have what active ingredients. I don't remember which one uses formalin.

Update: ammonia is roughly .25, maybe a lil less, nitrites 0, nitrates roughly 5.0 Bear in mind, tank does have cobomba (did I spell right??) two bunches of wisteria, and a small java fern. I imagine they may be using up a bit of nitrates. Still have fingers crossed.
