Fish adding schedule- add now, or wait? (LOTS of questions!)

The new tank (biocube 29) has been up and running for about a week and a half now. The live rock must have been fully cured because even after a week of testing every day, ammonia and nitrite were still undetectable. Nitrate has stayed constant at 20ppm, but I did originally use tap water...

Come on live rock, do something!!! (impatience is NOT a virtue)

So, I finally got my first saltwater tank (woo!!!) and am waiting for it to cycle. Biocube 29 with sand and about 30lb or so of live rock. Now, I picked pieces with lots of little pink and purple spots and one even has a whole side encrusted with green, but so far I've not seen any...

    Aquarium safe bucket

Bought a plastic bucket from home depot to use with my new saltwater tank, and I'm sure I'm just being overly anxious, but is there anything I need to wash it with other than just a plain old rinse to make it safe to use?

Oceanic biocube 29 package. Good deal?

I'm considering my first saltwater setup, and I'd like to keep things as simple (and inexpensive) as possible. To that end, there's a package that I've got my eye on. An Oceanic biocube 29, with the following included: 150w heater Skimmer (fits in the back and is rather small, I know) API...

Automatic food dispensers verus those white chalky block things

So, I'm going to be away for ten days and I'm wondering if anyone here has any advice for me. I assume the block things are way cheaper than an automatic timed dispenser thing, but I'm concerned that my fish would just pick at constantly and eat themselves to death. The tank I'm worried about...

Any expierence with JBJ Nano Cubes?

Or any comparable all in one marine package? Something like this: http://www.marineandreef.com/JBJ_28_Gallon_Nano_Cube_with_150_Watt_HQI_p/rjb10050.htm?gclid=CLCg4O2PvZgCFQwNGgodkBBGaQ Due to budget and space concerns, this appears to be a good deal. Of course, these things invariably never...

    Newbie stocking/tank size question

Now, when a certain amount of space is recommended for certain species of fish, is that absolute, or is it just a minimum amount to house that fish in? For example (and these numbers may be way way off as this is just off the top of my head) if a flame angelfish needs 30 gallons and a pair of...
