i use both, a digital and a regular one that sticks on the inside. i dont really trust the digital , i have one from hagen and there are times the numbers are all over the place, so thats why i have both just to be on the safe side....

yes all the panels and outside was made and covered with mdf.....

Hi vereyone, i have recently purchased some baby frontosa's and find that they look beautiful ... i am posting the pic of mine and just thought it would be nice too see more pictures of frontosa's, wether they are young or old..... i think it would be nice to share what differt pics people have...

i am using cycle from hagen wich is similar to prime i believe... i have been checking for ammonia and have tested it at 0.1 and my nitrites seem to be at 0.1 also. no traces of nitrates yet... is it normal that i have small traces of amm. and nitrites at the same time ? i thought that ammonia...

My new baby frontosa

Hi everyone, i have a question about my 108 gallon aquarium. it has been setup now for a little over two weeks, im doing my cycle with fish [ giant danios ] only because i was not able to find any ammonia in my home town... what i have been noticing is that i have algae growth a little bit...

welcome to AA, it looks great.....is it 4 feet long? i like youre stand too what type of finish is on youre stand... how about youre lighting system... how is it setup? you have a dome over it .. its hard to see.... all in all its very nice....

thanks, i bought all the aquarium equipement at my local pet store, and as far as the stand goes well i made all of it with my own hands..it came out pretty good, and is holding all that weight up ouffff...... hahaha its nice to sit down and look at the whole setup. i really enjoy it...

i really like the fx5, i read alot about and how quiet it is... they were right, it doesnt make much noise. especially when i close the doors on the stand.. It feels good to be back into the hobby... I hope that my pics can help other people for different ideas of the setup and the stand that...

I finally recieved my new aquarium yesterday.. so today was the big day.... the set up went very well and the new fx5 was a breeze to get going also ... i hope you enjoy the pics ... Pat.....:D:D:D:D:D

I agree with ezy33 abs plastic pipe sounds good and would look clean and neat, and you could cut youre plastic pipe down in half and use each half to cover youre openings. all you have to do is notch out where youre wiring passes and hoses.... if you feel that it would trap in to much heat just...

thanks for the help guys... i guess having 2 250 watt heaters is safer and does distribute the heat more evenly... i will most likely go with that choice.... thanks again, Pat:p:p:p
