So my LFS is having a sale and I'll be able to get two Marineland 150B Penguin Bio-Wheel filters for $29.99. They are rated for 30G apiece and have a GPH rate of 150. Would both of these filters be okay for my 55G? At least until I can afford to upgrade the filtration. The 55 will be stocked...

I'll have to see if my lfs has some green terrors. When I went there yesterday they had increased their cichlid selection 3 fold. Which is good for me, lol. I'll try to go tomorrow and see if I can get the names of them, might open up options, or at least steer me in the right direction.

Black Ghost Knife. They grow to 25" and mine was the most peaceful fish in my tank even though it was at least 3" bigger than everything else.

This is a cool idea. It's a lot better than the inch per gallon rule. I agree with Fishmonkey, I can see this getting somewhere. It'll be a great help to people new to the hobby.
