coolieloaches are nice little things but they stay on the bottom of the tank so you can still have more fish.......use real plants they are not that hard to look after...good luck :D

well a fish shop is a good place to start..lol... any place that sell's fish as long as you are happy with the fish you want to buy then where you get them from is down to you online is not good realy as you dont get to see the fish so you dont know if it has been looked after right.all i look...

i would like to think that all pleco's that get to big for there tank should get a bigger tank to live in as people should think about size of fish before they buy it as part of the compatabilerty proses. my pleco is only 2inch wide 6inch long but i am going to get a bigger tank very soon to put...

no you dont need one but a good canister filter would be nice

i use class cleaner and dont get no prob's as long as the air pipe that gos in to the tank is not near it you should not get any in the tank... :idea:

may be you need to feed them more.......lol :twisted:

i have got sand in my tank all i did when i put it in was take 50% of the water out then got the gravel out and then put the sand in. (i did take the fish out) i dont know if that if the way to do it but it worked for me.

nice one terry that was much easy for me to understand i have only got 2angles so i dont know what the out come will be but they get on so that mite be a good sign...

i would not wast your money them as they are not very good i uesed them and did not think they were very reliable get one that gos inside the tank they work much better :)

i am new to all this stuff realy had my fish tank about 9 mouths now but have had no probs with my comon pleco as of yet i have got bogwood in my tank as it make the water look abit brown witch make the fish feel abit safer as i understand i give my pleco hikari algae wafers every night he take...

angles are like that my to think they rule my tank but my 2 gourami soon settled in and now they give as good as they get dont for get you have just put them in they need time to settle in give it time if they still pick on them then chain your tank and then they will all think they are in new...

one thing i will ask is about tank mate for him are most fish ok to put with them? i have got a pleco he is 5 1/2 inches and he is fine with all my fish he dont take no messing off my angles that like to rule the tank is it the same for royal plecos?

cool thanx to all you peeps that have helped me out i do know they cost a bit but i can get one for £15 from my fish shop as they allways do me good deal as i spend most of my time in there....what a life.. :) so you think i shoud put peat in the tank as they like that it will be going in a 4ft...
