You mite want to take a sample to the LFS and get your mag tested. if it is low then you can dose all you want but it wont raise..

You could put some nice colored Zoas. i have a few small coloneys on my sand bed and they do great.. also chalice does pretty good on the sand bed and you can find some nice colorfull ones..

Just got back from the LFS my calcium is a little low but not bad its at 380 and my KH is at 13 a little high, said the reason my PH is high is because the kents superbuffer buffs up PH as well, my mag is at 1400 little high. said stop buffing up the kh. i am doseing to much and it all cant mix...

I dont have a Phosphate test kit but do you think phosphates could be killing my calcium?

My dk test kit is Tetra and the rest are API.. im not seeing any dust. my tank is a little less than a month. so very new. im adding kents superbuffer and kents turbo calcium. i am dealing with the diatoms cycle right now, would this have anything to do with it? Matt

I found one in my tank and i used blue vet Aptasia killer. it works well it was dead in 1 day. it came with a needle less syringe and you dont need to inject the substance into the varmint it coats it and kills it.. i believe the LFS guy told me is was just high calcium or something.. Matt

I have this skimmer and well its junk mine was even brokein when i got it and it still never worked right. i used it for umm a week then i bought a oceanic super skimmer and am using that instead. i have one for sale if you want a red sea skimmer lol.. Matt
