My new 10G tank, 1 month journey...

Great tank! The mine is very similar to yours ) the combination of black gravel and light green plants is so colourful! You created good filter but I know that the ceramic rings should be as the first level.

    15 gallon first time planted

Hi! If you are going to have planted tank, you need to add more lighting and illuminate the tank about 10-12 hours a day. As soon as you are using CO2 sistem it is necessary to apply ferts. And you have to block CO2 for the night or fish will be poisoned.

    To start over or not???

The ammonia level is really high. Rapidly growing plants is one of ways to make it lower. Я буду очень рад пообщаться как на русском, так и на английском! )

    To start over or not???

I may be mistaken but I suppose that the massive water change is not good. Aquarium is a small delicate ecosystem so as variant I would recommend to do water change twice a day. It is more laborious process but it worth it.

    To start over or not???

Bacteria is the guarantee of successful aquarium setup, isn't it? When you do such a large water change you may kill bacteria again and again.

    Breeding guppies?

What colors do you like in general? Fry are almost colorless.

    To start over or not???

It is dangerous for bacteria, daily 50% change is more than enough.

    Breeding guppies?

It depends on your preferences. As for fry, they have chances to servive in common tank if you add more plants.

    Can I fit more fish?

Ideal aquarium is a model of nature reservoir so if you love your fish, you would not let them be like canned herring.

    Can I fit more fish?

Good news, thanks! I have two couples of Microgeophagus ramirezi with lots of cherry shrimp. Sometimes fish successfully hunt for shrimps children and I thought that Betta is strong enought to hunt down all the adult shrimps.

    help with aggressive gourami pleaase

I've had Gouramis, they are the biggest gluttons I have ever seen! Annnie is absolutely right, Gouramis are interested only in food. Their stomach instead of the brain :)

    No more guppies!

Guppies usually are very hardy so I would suggest to make one more attempt and change a pet store. Good luck!
