After about five years, I sold my two mini-reefs (too much time, money and grief) and started a 29 gallon all-plastic-plant community tank. I've also tried planted tanks, but (IMO) they're as difficult and frustrating as reefs. I think there's something to be said for a (very) low maintenance...
