    Red Algae

    Hey guys!! in my 29gal biocube i keep getting red algae growing on my sand and some of my live rock. Any ideas as to why this is happening?? One of my buddies told me it may be because the lights are on for too long but im not sure.

    BioCube Lighting

    I have a 14 gal marine BioCube. I currently leave the lights on from about 10am-8pm. In the tank I have 3 fish, 2 hermit crabs, a snowfake eel, and 2 small soft corals (cant find the exact name). Is this okay?? How long do u leave your lights on for???
