What is: Signature permissions and What is: a ticket?

What is a ticket II I'm not sure where it came from, apparently it is now somewhere in my e-mail history or some other thing so connected. I will look for it as time permits. It was just a little envelope icon and a message attached saying "use this link" to do unspecified somethings to or...

    cleaning sponge block filter media

What happens to the bacteria in the sponge block when it is washed and squeezed out with chlorinated city tap water. We use water from our shallow well for running the tank and the sump. Thanks...Filter Mechanic

To sump or not to sump, that is the question

Dear eatsomepopcorn: I have a 120g FW with a 30g sump underneath the cabinet. The water in the sump used to "fly away" until I did the ugly thing and laid a shrink wrap plastic cover on the sump. The tank is not drilled so a 1200gph hob overflow box is the drain. This box came without a lid so I...

DarrylR: What is an assasin snail and what kind of pest infests the plants? My experience to date is that snails are a pest, except for the moon snail we had that was twice the size of the clown fish who ate it and then died. Filter Mechanic
