    White Spots on Live Rock???

They look just like sesame seeds. There is no swirls on them but they are popping up everywhere. In the tank are 3 Mexican Turbo's and 3 sand digging snails. Not sure of their name, but could they be from any of these snails?

pump chamber in biocube level keeps lowering?

I had this same problem with my 12g JBJ Nano when I first started it. I finally realized the water wasn't being pulled into the pump fast enough. I took off the piece that goes over to the filter to make the water fall into the filter and that fixed everything. My hubby also had the same...

    White Spots on Live Rock???

I have just recently found these white spots popping up on live rock and the black plastic of the back of my hubby's solana 34g tank. We have no idea what they could be. Could anyone please help identify these? :shocked!:

    New Clown Fish

I hate that all I can do is sit back and watch. I wish there was a way to make them just get along. I would hate to lose one of them. They have a great tank setup and the only other fish in the tank is a blue damsel who has adapted pretty well to the 2 clownfish. Everyone keep their fingers...

    New Clown Fish

At this point they are both aggresive toward each other at different times and they are both the exact same size! Ugh! How long do you think I will have to wait before being able to tell?

    New Clown Fish

My husband just bought 2 Clown Fish from a pet store. They were in a giant tank full of about 20 clowns. We have had them for about 3 weeks now. We have been watching their behaviors and trying to figure out which one is going to be the female and which one will stay the male. They are both...

    Newest Batch!

My Orange Mickey-Mouse Platy just had 43 babies last week. I caught her and added her to a breeder box an hour before she had them and was able to take her out an hour after! I can't believe the amount of babies I now have! Yesterday cleaning my tank I found 8 silver babies swimming around in...

    Snails?

Just an FYI, those type of snails do not need another to lay eggs and fertilize them. They are able to do it all by themselves. I had one come with my undulata plant because I had no idea I was able to rinse off new plants before putting them in my tank. I had never bought one before. Sure...

    Carbon Issue?

I did remove the old carbon and rinsed the new bag of activated carbon extremely well in tank water. The very next day the water wasn't grayish it looked like someone had poured milk into the tank. The old carbon has been in the tank for the past month and I had no problems with the water at...
