Apparently my 40 gal goldfish tank has a hydra infestation (white spots on the aquarium walls, right?). Any advice on how to get rid of it?

i usually frequent Aqua-Tek or Amazonia - was just curious if anyone here knew of any other awesome stores in the austin area? :)

i've got a 20 gallon in need of new inhabitants! :) right now there are: the above mentioned blue gourami, 4 kuhli loaches, 1 bristlenose pleco. i'm leaning towards going the platy route (they will work with the gourami, right?), but i'd love to hear any suggestions as well as quantity...

my albino bristle nose pleco has apparently started playing dead, giving me a heart attack each time! is this normal? is it a sign of something else is going on or a need not being met? he did it once or twice in the 20 gallon (that i saw, of course) but was last week, was transferred to a 40...

being sick and tired of the awful lighting in my betta's 1.5 gal, i was wondering if he'd be okay with my female blue gourami? right now the set up is: 10 gal - 1 blue gourami, 3 tiger barbs, 4 kuhli loaches. i realize the barbs probably won't work with the betta (they can be relocated), but...

i figured i'd give you knowledgeable folk the run down of my goldfish aquarium - i just want to make sure i'm on the right track and doing right by my little guys. the tank set up is about 2 months old at this point and admittedly, i'm new to fish. soooo... i've got 2 goldfish in a 20 gallon...
