I was just wondering.......do fish ever get thirsty?

I had a crisis this morning,i purchased a black percula clown fish yesterday for my son's 29 bio-cube,i have the firefish in the tank along with a yellow tailed blue damsel,the firefish and the damsel got along fine,but when i put the clown fish in the damsel started going after the clown...

i noticed a long white thing n my glass today. this is the first time ive seen it. my tank has been up for 5 weeks now. it has stuff like hair allalong its body. any ideas?

My sleeper goby burrowed under a peice of lr. At night he sleeps under it. Recently he has been picking up sand and dumping it on the lr. Is this normal? At first i thought he was trying to hide his home. Could that be what hes doing?

I have recently bought some cheato and put in each side of my tank. It seems like one of the sides is slowly disappearing. Could it be sinkning under the sand bed? Could one of my fish be snacking on it? please help

Around Christmas time i am hoping to set up a size 14 biocube and start a nano. I am just wondering what i will need. For example how much live sand will i need and how many pounds of lr. Will i also need to buy a heater and a protien skimmer.

I recently bought a peace of lr and was told it had sponge on it. Lately it hasnt been yellow, it has been a brownish color. What could this mean?
