It didnt do this in my 14 gallon oceanic biocube. The water level in the tank doesn't...

    Qting inverts.

A guy who works at my LFS store, he told me to do the same with the mushroom coral. I thought it odd, but they have always been right about everything and have a very healthy stock of fish and coral.

over a week ago I bought 5 heads that were connected at the base of purple soft disc coral. I got it home nad it seemed to be a mix of purple and aqua green, and then over a few days it opened up, but didn't look as healthy as the kind in the tank it came out of, I just switched it from the 14...

    Qting inverts.

why do you acclimate your inverts? I bought two hermit crabs and they said to lay them on a paper towel for 10 minutes and then put them in the tank without accimlation.

    Hey, kind of late but...

They do, just the ocellaris were already big and the true perculas are still very young and small so for the time being til I could get a bigger tank I figured the smaller ones would do better til they are full grown and then I'd have a bigger tank for them. I have an album up of the 29 gallon...

    Hey, kind of late but...

Oh I liked them, they were just big for my 14 gallon biocube and then the sealent(sp?) broke and Oceanic sent me the 29 gallon but I had already given my ocellaris to the LFS store, they are in good hands there, the store is a very nice family owned store that took them in and I didn't purchase...

    Hey, kind of late but...

I probably should have posted this a few days ago. I am new to the site, and just starting out with Salt water. I currently have a 29 gallon oceanic biocube with 9lbs of live rock, 10lbs of live sand (didn't want a deep sand bed) mushroom disc coral (which seems not so happy about the move from...
