    loach lovers

Mainly it is the botia family of loaches that are the snail eaters, such as the clown and yoyo loaches. Dojo's are more of a insect/decaying veggie matter consumer. None of the fish listed should have any problems being housed together. best, dino

The clown loaches and discus should get along alright. Not kept discus and gouramis together, so somebody else will need to answer that one. Tn Tanks, join the rest of the Tennessee crew down in the Tennessee regional forum. All it takes is a pm to Voodoo Chilli letting him know you would...

    Madagascar lace

I do them at room temperature here. The best luck I have had with them is when I place some type of in substrate fertilizer for them. Once they have bloomed, I store them in the dark, in a bucket of water that barely covers the plants for about two months. Once I bring them back out, I make sure...

To ship or not to ship- That is the question!

I ship year round. What you have planned should work just fine. Since, I work closely with The Fish Store, Tn, I have all the shipping boxes I need. The very same boxes that shop gets it's fish in from the farms. When shipping out, I place a heat pack taped to the lid and punch a hole thru the...

Can you all give me some tips on photographing fish/tanks?

When I shoot here, there are several things I do. One, turn off all lights in the room other than those that concentrate light into the tanks. Two, try your hardest to set things up so that you do not have to use a flash. ( Nothing like a flat glass surface to get a back flash off of) Three...
