I have a 125g tank. I currently have a Filstar XP3. I want another canister filter before I start adding coral. What are some brand names that make good canister filters? I know the Fluval FX5 is good but kinda pricey. What about Eheim?

Okay, my next question is do these fixtures have a positive and negative wire? If so, how do I know which is which?

Took about 2 months to get my BH-300F collection cup perfect. It takes time and if it like mine you might find the sweet spot for it but that doesn't mean that the bubble level will stay there constantly. My bubble level flucuates(spelling) from time to time.

Okay, here is what I am using right now (pictured below) Here is what the person I bought this tank from gave me as a back-up set. (Pictured below) I have no clue what this 2nd set is. It comes with 3 ballests though (spelling again).

Here is my problem. I have 4 36" T-8 lights for my tank. When I turn my lights on, they don't come on. I have to twist and mess with the bulbs to get them to turn on. I cleaned the connectors on the bulbs and the sockets. I have 2 lights going to 1 ballests(spelling) and the other 2 lights...

I am going to be buying about 100# of homemade base rock. How do i cure this to get it ready to go into my tank? I have heard many different ways but I would like another opinion. Thanks

My octopus sticks up about 4-5 inches above my tank but my canopy hides it very well

I bought a Octopus BH-300F HOB and love it for the price. Once I got it fine tuned, all I do now is empty the collection cup. Very easy set-up

Ditto. Mine just swims in and out of the live rock all day. Doesn't even do to the top to feed.

I shop at Petco and hear is what I paid: 2 Ocellaris Clownfish $30 Blue Damsels $3 each Yellow tang I think I paid around $30 Yes they are over priced IMO

My tank has been up and running since Dec. 09. My stock is Yellow Tang, Blue Hippo Tang, 6-Line Wrasse, Sunrise Dottyback, 2 Clownfish, 4 Blue-Green Chromis's, Royal Gamma Basset. It is a 125g tank.

I didn't add my CUC in my 120g till about 1 month after adding starter fish. You need to give your tank time to make stuff for your CUC to eat.
