    Tangs in a 120g

Can I put tangs or triggers in a 4' 120gal tank? I keep reading you should have a 6' 125gal tank, but I was wondering if I could create a rock mountain in the middle of the tank so there would be room to swim all the way around the outsides of the tank. I don't want to put anything in an...

HELP - trigger and volitan lion fish troubles

Did a water change last night, and doing again tonight. Temp is regulated with a cheap heater. The house is about 70 and my cheap lights don't really put off much heat. Just using 20K fluorescents in a cheap hood. On a bright note, the trigger fin appears to be magical. I watched it for 2...

New Huma Huma Trigger and the Damsel that wants to kill him

He actually is a juvi. The damsel has been in the tank for two years. We figured since the tank was established the Huma wouldn't be so territorial at the start. We just didn't realize the damsel would kick his butt. I knew they were aggressive, we have a pretty aggressive tank anyway, but it...

Water test and new addition Sorry for the delayed response - water test came back a little high in nitrate, but we corrected it. Last night we added a new fish to our tank and took one out. It's our first tank

We are Jill and Josh and our first tank was put up this last Sat. It was an established tank from a friend - everything survived the move - 75 miles away!! We are so proud of ourselves, we even went and bought a starfish from our LFS that is doing great with his/her new house mates.:D
