Wanted: 60-75 Gallon Plexi or Glass Tank

Hi there... looking for a 60-75 Gallon tank, prefer a plexi but will take glass as long as it is in relatively good shape. Would rather a breeder type tank, shorter height and a bit wider and longer but am open to all considerations. Am in the San Francisco Bay Area - thanks! Clare

I also think rainbows are a good choice or you could add a small school of roselike sharks...see my video attached here of my 115G

    Stocking my new 60 gallon

    Peacock Gudgeons

Thanks for the video, Jetajockey ... I think I will try pulling the next tube. These fry look incredibly small, like my spawns of German blue rams last year. Thankfully I have kept the vinegar eel and microworm cultures going. :-) And, Bigpapafish, I respectfully disagree with your...

    Peacock Gudgeons

I am in the process of attempting to breed peacock gudgeons and would love to hear about anyone else's experience in doing so. I have 7 fish in a 20G long - 2 males and the rest females (fairly sure on sex though these are young fish but the males have the bigger bulging heads). I have had...

Easy fish to breed?( non livebearer)

I would definitely want the biggest tank possible to keep good water quality while breeding anything, and the bristlenose need room as they have large spawns and are a big waste producer, which leads to poor water quality quickly in a smaller tank. As I stated before, my pair are in a well...

Easy fish to breed?( non livebearer)

Well, I have bred long fin albino bn plecos (fairly easy), German blue rams (more difficult); am also trying peacock gudgeons at this time.....but so far, my neolamprologus multifaceiatus are super easy - pretty much just add water. :-) Clare

    ABN breeding??

ABNs Just saw this post and thought I would chime in - I bred my lf albino bn plecs successfully last year (about 300 fry from four spawns). Raised them mostly in the 40G they hatched in, though I did keep a 20G long available for backlog and fed them all lots of fresh veggies to grow out as...

    Looking to Breed Multis

Thank you everyone for your replies - just makes me want to breed them more , especially the occelatus :-) I have heard that the shellies have big personalities for their size - can't wait for the tanks to cycle. Looks like I will probably go through Dave's but am concerned about winter weather...

    Looking to Breed Multis

I have two 20G longs and plenty of shells and sandy substrate ( a coral mix from the LFS). Was figuring I could put 6-8 juveniles in each and see who pairs off.....LFS will take back the ones that don't. The gold ocellatus are proving hard to find...my LFS is trying as well - he already has...

    Fish ID Please

Just picked these up at a local fish club auction last night - can anyone ID them for me - I though they were pretty and no one there could properly ID them except to say they were apistos....they are currently in my quarantine tank.
