Very Sick/Suffering Fish! No idea what this is...!

She doesnt have any color loss, her fins arent clamped, her redness isnt near her head or gills from what I can see... I'm not sure what this is...

Very Sick/Suffering Fish! No idea what this is...!

I should probably also clarify that when I say "laying on the bottom", she's not laying on her side or anything...she's just on the bottom in the same way that fish sleep on the bottom of a tank. Also, the red veins are only on one side of her body. She's extremely fat like she's about to bust...

Very Sick/Suffering Fish! No idea what this is...!

I saw that same thing after googling as well....but I honestly cant see any kind of worm at all...only swelling.. Could this be a pregnancy gone horribly wrong? She gave birth to one guppy a few days ago(I know this because I just saw a fry in the tank while doing a 50% water change in the...

Very Sick/Suffering Fish! No idea what this is...!

I had purchased a female guppy from the LFS about a week ago. She was fat, so we assumed she was pregnant. Yesterday, I noticed she was lethargic and laying on the bottom of the tank. I looked closely and noticed that it appeared something was trying to come out of her butt hole (sorry I dont...

    Sick Baby Panda Corys?

Fin rot is pretty obvious... torn tattered and disappearing fins.

    Sick Baby Panda Corys?

I had the exact same issue day before yesterday. Woke up to find my dead panda.. also noticed that it didnt seem to want to school either. I'm noticing a little fin rot though, and noticed you had said you seen the tattered fins... maybe they are just more sensitive to that than other fish?

Fin Rot and Missing Panda Cory Cat

Well, I found it, and it was dead. Looks like the fin rot is getting worse. I'll do another change in the morning. Another 40% change maybe...

Fin Rot and Missing Panda Cory Cat

I noticed this morning that it appears a couple of my sweeties have fin rot, and my Panda Cory Cat was laying on it's side on the bottom of the tank. I immediately called work to tell them I may be a little late, and got started on a 50% water change. The Cory Cat immediately hopped right up...

    New Sweeties!

They are the cutest arent they? I just love watching them look around at everything and decide where to rest for the night. I love how the male is protective of the female. So precious

    New Sweeties!

Well thank you! Those Rams just had the most beautiful intense markings I've seen. I wish my camera could pick it up. They're just wonderful! I can't wait to watch them make a place in the tank for their eggs, and see them guard.

What to put in a 1g?

I dunno... I think a betta is perfectly fine in a one gallon. I know most would disagree but... bettas arent very active fish. They dont need a lot of room to go up and down or side to side... they're pretty stagnant (even if they are in a 20gallon tank like mine!)... Besides that, any betta...

    29 Gallon rescape

I would definitely keep it. It looks great and adds a lot of natural color. I just added a few random driftwood pieces to my tank as well. I like the look. Keep us updated.

    29 Gallon rescape

I actually love that driftwood piece...it adds a nice red tone, whereas all you had before was green and grayish brown. Looks great.

    Filter

Don't I want to keep the carbon? I don't have an ich outbreak right now...this was a long time ago. I was just rinsing my filter yesterday after it got a little clogged with sand, and thought maybe I should replace it. My filtration system is a whisper30 on a 20 gallon tank
