Bump..............sorry, just trying to get a answer from my last question.

I did remove the wheels a couple months ago. From what I read most people were doing that. If I run carbon in a seperate bag do you think I could run the filters for longer time. I know this is a expensive hobby but I try to save where I can.

I am using a Penguin Bio-wheel 330 on my 30 gal tank. When I do my 10% water change every week I take out the filters and spray off all the brown gunk with the kitchen sink sprayer. Is this the correct way to do it? When the filters go back into the Bio-wheel they are saturated with tap...

The bulbs I'm looking at are in the Drs Foster & Smith catalog. Any other place have good prices on bulbs?

I have a 30 gal tank and am using the All-Glass triple tube lights. The light (s) still have the original bulbs in them which are 1 1/2 years old. From what I have read the bulbs will "wear out" over time. I was going to order new replacement bulbs but there is so many choices that I don't know...

Mine seems interested in food but does not eat very much. He will chase the flake and pellets but usually dosen't eat or he spits it out. He will usually eat a few bites of the mysis shrimp. Does anyone think soaking in garlic would help?

No, he's not bothered them at all. He has been right beside them and I have not seen any aggesion. Remember, these fish also form relationships with the pistol shrimp.

If I decide to get another clown it shouldn't be too hard to find a smaller one. My lfs always stock young/small clowns. I couldn't beleive how fast the one I have grew. I guess when you hog most of the food you get bigger faster.

If anyone read my post from last night you know one of my clowns died. Now I must decide to either get another clown or just be happy with 1 clown and a couple other type fish. I know I am limited on how many fish I can put into a 30 gal tank. Clowns are my favorite but I also like cardinals...
