Have a 55 with Zebra olbiquens, and yellow labs, can I put in a colony of ruby greens with these. I am more worried about cross breeding, right now the labs and zebras breed amongst themselves.

Can anyone identify this fish, I have 2 of these, got them from A guy who said they were all yellow labs. From what I've been told even female yellow labs have some black on them, these fish have no black at all.

want a canister for my 55 planted tank, was going to go with the rena xp3, but after reading some of the reviews, it has alot of leaking problems. One headache I don't need. So now I'm looking at a cascade 1200, lots of good reviews on the cascade filters. Anyone have experience with these filters?

Just got 5 of these for my 55 gal, dealer told me these would be compatable with the barbs and tetras already in there. I am hoping to breed them, they are supposed to breed fairly easily. Does anyone have any experience with these guys. Never had cichlids before, so this is new to me.

have this really dark green algae on my plants in my 20 gal. None on the glass just on the plants. I cut some of it away on my java moss. Maybe I'm keeping my light on too many hrs, any other reasons for this to happen, and how do I get rid of it.

Just purchased an Aquaclear 50, when do you need to clean the foam, and when do you need to replace the biobag? I know the carbon is supposed to get replaced monthly. Also I have 2 Aquaclear 50's on my 55 gal, is this sufficient? This is a live planted tank.
