oh, also on hand I have Hikari ich-x, but I don't believe that will treat fungal infections like rid ich+ does, correct? The only other on hand treatments are melafix and aquarium salt.

Does anyone have an idea of what I'm missing? I think it might be that my alkalinity isn't high enough for the mollies, I know they like hard, high ph water. I have all the other parameters in order, the only thing that is low is that alkalinity.

Cool, thanks for the tip. Before I actually go adding this, can anyone else think of any other reason why the mollies wouldn't be mating? I do regular water changes and keep an eye on all parameters, and I don't know what else the problem could be.

my total hardness is moderate but my alkalinity is below 80 ppm. I'm trying to figure out why my mollies aren't mating, and I think the alkalinity might be why.
