Cooking your LR takes a lot of time but it's well worth it although I don't believe it is necessary but if u do it you'll be happy you did later on

First off welcome!!!! This is a great site Well I'd ask how many times are you doing PWCs (partial water changes ) that makes a huge difference another thing what type of lights, what's in the tank and what type of filtration are you using ? These are some questions that will help if not me...
