    Seachem MultiTest: Copper NO reading

I read on their web site you only need to use a small amount of copper reagent 1. I have been using a level scoop, like the instructions say. Which instructions should I listen too. http://www.seachem.com/support/FAQs/MT_Copper_faq.html I'm sending them an email as well. Thanks

    What type of algae?

Yeah, I have a lot more than one Aiptasia. They are like weeds. I used Juice juice a while ago, I got most of them, But some more are starting to appear. I have to zap them out soon. Is red slime algae considered part of my initial algae bloo, from a new tank?

    Looking.. For Mantis Shrimp

I can't seem to find him anymore. I setup a trap, all I keep catching are my hermit crabs. I saw him go into my live rock once, pulled the rock out and dipped it into the fizzing water. He must of left the rock through another hole, because he never came out. I think I scared him and now he is...

    Recommend Good Chiller

The Chiller was bought in Cerritos, CA. My boss knew I was looking for a chiller, he called me up from the fish store where he saw the good deal. I told him to pick me one up. Not sure if they have any left. I can find out the name of the store if you want.

    Strange white coating on tubing??

Yeah, I have leared a lot. Read a lot of books, plus read all the forums I can find on the net. You can never know enough. Anemoneman good info, I'll keep an eye for that link. But with regular water changes it shouldn't cause any harm.

    Strange white coating on tubing??

There might be stuff you can spray on it. I'm no familiar with it, maybe some one else can suggest something. When I flake salt creep back in, it usually takes a few minutes to dissolve with good water flow. You can break of the flakes to smaller pieces to help in the dissolving. I seem to get...

    Strange white coating on tubing??

No, Ideally you don't want to have salt creep. I would flake it off and make sure it doesn't fall on any fish or coral, etc. You want it back in, or your SG will go down over time. Small amount of missing salt adds up.

What kind of Salt do you use?

    Coralife

    Strange white coating on tubing??

It's Salt Creep. Salt creeps up there by evaporation. Water probably get on tubing then water evaporates leaving the salt.

    Looking.. For Mantis Shrimp

I have one in my tank, I need to remove him before I add my fish after quarantine is over. He looks like 3 inches long as is very quick. I will set up a DIY trap outside his home rock. Can they survive without water during shipment? I have a few pics if you want them.

    Nitrates in Quarantine Tank

They like to hide under or behind the sponge filter, they also have a couple of white Pvc Elbows and T-Joints to hide in. Now I have to wait 2 weeks 4 days to add them to my main tank. Can't wait!! :D
