    Got a compact floresent?

    I just picked up a coralife 48" compact floresent fixture on the super cheap. All but one bulb is burnt out. My question is what should I measure to see what size they are to buy new bulbs? From end where the prongs are to end of tube it is 21" so are they 21" bulbs?

    New to salt water

    I am trying to get started in saltwater, I have a 55g tank that I need to build a stand for. While I start the tank build I am going to use a 30g I have as a sump/ref, would I be able to set that up and cycle the water through that to get it established prior to getting the main tank going?
