    a few hap pics

    Thanks everyone. I have a brightly lit tank, but the remote flashes for the camera do most of the work. Im using two flashes...one onboard, and the other over the top of the tank. I found a much better pic of my juvy red empress taken last night. I added the new pic to the original post.

    godzilla Make sure you have the autofocus on when shooting fish. It helps to focus at a closer distance so that you can get better shots of the fish in the entire frame (so you dont have to crop too far down). That will help you out tremendously (if your not using it now). Yellow labs are...

    thanks Rich and tetrin tetrin I got this male from a guy who breeds them. He has alot of fry, so if you are really interested in a few of these, let me know. I dont think these guys are too common like the Copadichromis azureus or mloto.

    Billsgate I can take these pictures as Ive had a lot of practice. Ive been taking fish pics for 3-4 years now. My fish are used to the camera, so that makes it easier. They dont freak out when they see it-they just act natural. I dont shoot these with a tripod as that would be too...
