it takes a guppy 28-32 days to conceive the best way to do them is to set up like a 2gallon tank and put the females in it and then if they dou have babies they are only in the small tank. the gravid spot will turn really black a few days before she will conceive.

they sell betta containers that suction cupto the side of the tank to hold bettas in. they are a pretty good setup and you use the filter and heater from your tank that you already have set up.

i would reccommend 3 to 4 females to 1 male and a decent size tank at least a 20 gallon. i also use a smaller tank such as a 5 gallon to house fry in once they are born. i use a guppy breeder and then just dump the babies in the 5 gallon tank.
