hi, problem solved. The vertical pipe, which I term it as water level valve, is not supposed to be turned but rather it acts as a telescope pipe. So sliding up and down will adjust the water level. Thx for the help and advice.

Hi thanks for the manual. great help in understanding the parts. Mine is an older model than the one in the manual. So how is the water level adjusted in the case of the one in the manual? I suppose its the adjusting pipe right labelled (i). Thanks
