How is aqua illumination?

I am wondering if this seems correct. I have a 18inch marineland reef capable led. 18- 1 watt daylight and 3- 1 watt blue for a total of 21 watts over a 26 gallon tank. Would it equal .80 watts per gallon of light? Thanks in advance.

I turn off my skimmer and pump. However my dad never turns his off and his sock fills up alot faster than mine with all the extra food going into the overflow.

Keep in mind when checking PH wait atleast two hours after your lights are on. Also, your Ph will lower after doing a water change based on the water not previously being exposed to light. I made the same mistakes a few times by checking PH after I did my water changes.

What is the benefit of cleaning/running powerheads in a vinegar and water? Also, is there a suggested rinsing cycle to remove the vinegar odor/residue from the powerhead before placing back into your tank?

I use a shot glass full of new tank water into a container with the starfish and old tank water. I add a shot glass about every five minutes

I am planning on moving my starfish from one tank to the other. How long should I acclimate the starfish for. I believe you acclimate longer than normal.

I doubt the water change stressed the FD. I have mine in med. water flow and do many water changes. At one point my FD lost his crown but within a week was already growing a smaller crown. Just give it time.

Am I safe to use glass cleaner to clean my glass top on my tanks? I figure as long as the glass is dry before I put it back on.
