I have had one for a year and 2 months now. If you are trying to cut down on your pods i would try a red scooter blenny. They will live longer and will get along with a mandarin in that large of a set.

I think that the best pistol/goby pair is a randalls goby with a candy cane pistol. I have a Randal and bought him a pistol then i didnt see that shrimp for a long time so i got him another and come to find out he now has both of them......lol

you should probably note that they are extremely smart and will end up eating almost every living thing in your tank. I dont think that a 10g would suit them either. If you are going to try i recommend getting a secure lid.

well that was the original plan but 1. The 75 setup is really nice with a really nice stand as is and 2. the 225 is a tall and the 75 was a long and wont fit and 3. I really want a predatory.....:D i agree that it there are some really neat species of predatory animals available. Dog faced...

If you just siphon from the middle of the tank you really wont suck too many up... of course you are going to lose a few but when there are no predators in the tank they can reproduce very fast.

my green bubble tip gets tager fed once every couple or weeks or so with finely diced up shrimp from publix (i even bought it wild caught when i normally buy the cheap stuff for myself). He seems to be happy. My clowns also bring it food but still try and give it some every now and again.

If your tank is already established you may see a spike in your parameters but I dont see how it would hurt...

I actually do the exact thing that you are talking about. I have a 10g set up with just some LR and an airstone and some T8s. They breed amazingly!!! I do give them waterchanges about as often as my 225 thought.

ive gotten lr from fosters and Smith and had the same experience. I wont shop from that site any longer.

i used Kordons and it sucks. Roll with cleaners and keep your tank healthy and you will be good to go.

I would go for a smaller variety also. I have one in my 75g along with 2 cleaners and that thing is HUGE!! A smaller one would do great in your 20g.

Hey guys, I ordered a green bubble tip and got him in today. He is inverting his innerds and doesnt look too good. Should i even try and put him in my tank? I dont want him to nuke it. please help soon as i am still at work and dont know what to do.
