    Thats what the lfs say it could possible be because of they were healthy and dead suddenly like that. I am the only one that cleans anything around the tank. but its still mystery why it didnt bother any of the coral.

    The temp stays at 80 Unless there was a swing at night but its 75 with a 20 gallon sump the temp doesnt swing that fast. nitrates i use the elos test witch has low lvl accuracy. Most of my test are Salifert test kits. And i got it tested at the lfs and they confirmed all of my results.

    So I woke yesterday morning to find all of my fish dead. They were all healthy and eating the night before. All my soft corals and snails are perfectly fine. Any ideas what could of caused this? sal 1.022 ph 8.2 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 1

    What kind of algae? What time of day are you testing the water? At the end of the light cycle the algae can consuming the nutrients. This could be part of the problem. check the food you are using some food contains phosphates. And here is a good article to check out. FantasyReef...

    if I got a 120 litre tank, how many fishcould I have

    120 litre is equal to around a 30 gallon if my math is right. i dont know of any puffer that will not live long in a 30 gallon.so i wuld say no on the puffer and the tang.

    are you looking for an actual fish or just something to keep your sand clean? nassarius snails are the most common but you can also get some hermit crabs and they have a sand sifting starfish.

    I only have a a wrasse and an eel in the tank right now need to get rid of then im can add all the other fish that i want. so it could be a lack of nutrient for it to grow.

    i keep mine at 80 degrees also. i found it cheaper to buy a room air conditioner and cool the whole room if that is possible.

    Eel tankmates/setup assistance

    I had a bird wrasse and a dragon wrasse with my snow flake eel without a problem plus you can get a nice puffer fish.
