    Yeah sorry horrible picture, he doesn't have a shell per se, he seems to be munching on the algae on the sides of the tank, so if he's not a pest ill leave him be!! Thanks guys!

    Salinity is 1.025, nitrates around 5, water temperature hangs around 79, it's a nano only six gallons. The polyps do open up, and I feed the other coral in the tank the filter feed, I can't remember the name of it and I'm at work... The ones that are still pretty yellow do seem to brighten up on...

    Nope, an 18". The tank is shallow enough that it works well.

    They just came on a piece of live rock, I didn't purchase them, some of them seem to be budding, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I can be supplementing them with besides the normal filter feeder food... Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance guys!!

    Just got a new piece of live rock from my lfs... And there's this big black blob on it, bubble algae of some sort maybe?? Can anyone help me out?

    It's pretty stable knock on wood! Salinity and h20 evaporation are the biggest challenges

    Reef sun fluorescent. Saving up for some LEDs the button polyps and coralline algae are growing amazing. I didn't buy them specifically. They came on live rock. So it was a pretty awesome deal.
