    Soaking driftwood

I have gotten it into the tank now, but it still floats. I have it weighted down with a rock for now. Once it stays down, I'll keep trying to flip it around too see witch way it's gonna stay. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Soaking driftwood

So I bought a piece of driftwood off eBay about a month ago. Boiled it a couple times. Now just have it soaking with a stone on top of it. It had been more than two weeks now and it still just floats add soon as I remove the stone. Is it possible that this will not become water logged enough to...

    Are these eggs?

Yea.... I was running out the door so I didn't get a good pic. If they are eggs, what do I do next? The other tank mates are 4 corys, 3 long skirt tetras, and 5 ottos. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Are these eggs?

My Hearlequin Rasboras were swimming around this plant as a group this morning after I turned on the light before I left for work this morning. I have had a school of 7 for about a year. Then Tuesday I bumped the school up to 11. What do you think. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Aquarium...

    New 55 gallon tank.

OK I am acquiring a 55 gallon from my coworker that he no longer wants. I would like this to be my first planted tank. Im gonna find a nice piece of driftwood or 2. IT WILL be pool filter sand for the substrate. I really want this to be a low tech tank. So I could really use some ideas for what...

    My new 40 gal breeder

I agree a black back ground would make it look great. Plus it would help keep the sunlight out that you will have behind the tank there. It will also hide power cords and such.
