A LFS is selling this Helios T5 fixture with eight 54 watt bulbs for $300. Another LFS says there are different qualities of T5 bulbs and that these Helios do not put out as much light per watt as the other T5 bulbs out there. Is this true ?

Does anyone have any experience or advice on this skimmer ? I have heard it can be a pain to adjust or do maintenance. Anyone have one ? I am trying to decide between this and the Red Sea Berlin Classic. Thanks for any input, MIKE

Does anyone use a Velocity silent pump from custom Sea Life ? I want a very quiet external pump to pump about 1300 GPH. I have heard that centrifugal pumps like this will heat up your water. Is this true ? If so what other very quiet pumps do you recommend ? MIKE
