Man 300g that's supper sweet, I've seen some of the fake corral first hand by them and well.... It's great, really realistic all the colours and half the hassle, well done for taking the plunge, in relation to money I would spend 100's of thousands on a tank if I had the capital and the room, I...

    Help me please!

You didn't do nearly enough research, cycling a tank with fish is cruel. Like making you breath and swim in your own poo. You should have done a rock only cycle, yes it take 4-6 weeks but I did that and I haven't has a single loss and it's been up and running for about 8 months, you should...

Sorry NEWB question here about my 12 Gallon….

A powerhead would help the fish too so they have some resistance to swim against, I wouldn't say one is essential in such a small tank but it's defiantly advisable :)

    Green grass

Afraid not, they are so small I can't get a decent shot, I've spent the last month trailing species lists and I can't find them anywhere, there absolutly see through but they come out about mid day and if a shrimp goes near them it shrivels up and hides, and then it opent up again it's about the...

    High salinity

Oh and do you have a refractometre?
  19. T

    High salinity

You should do a 20% water change but with just RO/DI water, no salt in it, this will bring it down a little then do like 5% everyday till it is at 023/025

    Best way to increase pH?

Hi there I use sechem balance ph buffer, you add the suggested amount and it brings it up 0.1 every dose, you can dose as much as you like per day, and it dosent effect anything else, and I mean anything. I've used it to bring mine up once from 7.9 to 8.2 and it has stabilised and never dropped...

Do saltwater fish have more personality than fresh?

I had a 65g freshwater for 5 years with many different American cichlids in and I had a brilliant flowerhorn cichlid (female) she would eat out of my hand let me catch her by hand when she was unwell, then she spawn and she was so territorial but she would let me lift the top of there cave to...
