Is a small amount of aquarium salt dangerous for any fish? I have a 20 gallon tank and was wondering if it is necessary to add salt

Yes that is what I'll use next time. I've seen them everywhere. At least my other fish are happy... And have a bit more room. Funny how all the fish that died were the nippy ones.

So I got my new filter, I put the media from the old one into it, but I checked the levels and the nitrite seems to be about .5 so I placed the old cartridge in along with the current (new one that came with filter). Should this fix it?!?!?

Me and my girlfriend fish the dead fish out ourselves because they will sit in the sales tanks for days at...

I was considering starting a 10 gallon aquarium to accompany my 20 gallon, and I was wondering that if I wanted to cycle the tank faster could I take a filter cartridge already in use on my 20 and use it to cycle my 10 faster. And if I did pwc on my 20 and put a few gallons of the removed water...
