yup I started the maroxy after I did the water change.
So I do have to remove the carbon for the melafix and pima fix?
what if i just remove the carbon now and continue treatment?
Carbon has been in the filter since the treatment of maroxy.
I have two 350 penguin filters with 8 carbon filter media in total. 4 in each
Do you think that could be why its not working?
Its really hard to tell from those pictures.
It could be fungus or bacterial infection.

So, Pretty soon I'm purchasing a 75 gallon tank. Eventually I want to get a few Discus once the tank is fully cycled and running for a few months after that. What I keep hearing is that Discus require really nice water quality. And Reverse Osmosis was mentioned in numerous articles.

I've heard of few people getting a plastic trash can and filling it up with conditioned water. Throw a heater in there with the right temperature of your aquarium and put an airstone in. Let the water air rate for 24 hours and then the PH will lower. Chlorine will also evaporate out within 24...
