Was looking at your other thread too. I think it all depends but I think it will be fine. A buddy of mine has tiger barbs with a rts, (not the same I know), but they dont even acknowledge each other. However I'm sure, like all aquariums, it varies from fish to fish.

Yeah it's in it's first two weeks, currently fishless cycling. I would like to get like 3 otos, but I thought I had to wait to get them until algae has built up. Does this qualify or will they chow through this and then be starved? Its a heavily planted 37 gallon.

Never mind. Just that leaf was dying. The rest is riddled with brown algae or diatoms? Does anyone know which? And if it's algae which fish will clean the plants?

It happens ha. Its supposed to be the whole tank. But when I do it I do half the dose and I just add it to the tank. Doesn't hurt the fish and it gets circulated quicker. But adding the full dose will only be safer.
