I have a biocube 29 and I'm having a problem with algae. I basically just wanted to know would a protein skimmer help? and realistically speaking how much would it help? I'm going to purchase the tunze 9002. Any biocube owners want to weigh in?

My firefish has something funny going on. On his right side under his fin there's something that looks like it doesn't belong.Can someone help me in figuring this out? He doesn't move like he's sick and seems healthy otherwise.

I have a 29g biocube. Had just one fish for about a month, not sure if it's a chromis or a damsel. My wife put him in there. I just added a cardinal and a firefish and the older one is going nuts. Seems like he's policing the live rock. He's chasing the other fish down. What should I do?

I have a peppermint shrimp, 3 hermits and 6 turbo snails. I'm not really worried about nitrates because my test kit has never indicated any in my tank. I'm just going to move it as to get all the diatoms on it.
