Try a brine fish net and just scoop through the water and then go over to the other tank and shake it out in there. Do that a couple times a week and you should add enough to keep the dragonette happy and also alow the pods in the other tank to replenish so you dont end up run'n out of pods.

I use 5 gallon water cooler jugs. I get them for $5 a pop at home depot. Just go to the service desk that everyone brings the empties for recycling and pick out the best look'n ones with caps and you should be good to go. I always keep 5 on hand.

That sounds great. I really like how they pop out and are a great center piece for the tank. The only fish that may be a problem would be my multicolor angle but I'm not sure if it will pick at the clam or not. All the other fish are peaceful and I got a couple shrimp so this might be doable but...

IAgree with the purple up but you have to get you're phosphates as close to zero as you can to really have that stuff explode on you. I love the stuff and use it religiously.

Every time I get live rock I hope for cool hitchhikers and I never get good stuff like that. Especially when I pay $6 a lb for the figi ultra rock. I got a hitchhiker one time and I still have no clue what it was but it wasn't good cuz it wax'd one of my clownfish. Maybe one day I'll luck out.

on a 90 gal I would do at the very least 15 gal PWC and the light situation is tough with the coral. I suggest maybe leave'n em on for 5 to 6 hours at the most for a few days and see how that works out. I didn't have corals when I had that problem so I'm guess'n by have'n em on for just those...

Great advice Henry. I agree if you don't have any corals leave you're lights off for a few days that will help along with the PWC's. And maybe if you cut back feed'n you're fish to every other day if thats not what you are do'n already. I remember I had that problem early on when I first started...

Is it better to have the blue actinic light up front and the other lights in the back. The reason i ask is that the lights in the back just shine over the rocks and the other pair shine on the front of the display tank where the fish are most active. Does it even matter?
