I have an all in one system and I wanted to know what would be the best media for these kinds of tanks. As of right now I have a 35 gallon tank and the only media i have is a big sponge and active carbon in the media tray. Any suggestions?

Bubble tips get quite large and I'm worried that it would be a main center piece. i dont believe my tank is mature enough i've read that about 6 months to a year. My tank has been up only about 4 months. For my lighting i have a dimmable 120 watt led.

Light cycle may be the problem i have blues on for 12 hours and whites for 8. I feed maybe every 3 days i just have corals a goby and a pistol shrimp right now so not very much feeding going on. I also do about 2 water changes a week also. SO it has to be the lights

I've read that Sebae's are good and i don't know about hosting but mini carpet nems i found were really awesome looking. I'm worried about corals like that growing to large.

I plan on building my own shallow reef aquarium, the dimensions will be L48"W24"H13". These dimensions come out to a 65 gallon tank, if I extend the width to 28" it becomes a 75 gallons. What are anyones opionons on this? Is anyone out there with a shallow tank have problems with it? Pro's...

I think I'm going to try a 12 hour blues with blues coming on first and ending and a 8 hour white cycle. With both at 30% and see where that takes me, i guess
