update. fed flakes last night. all did well except the Bluexxx/Turquoise. he attacked the flakes but only chewed them into pieces in his mouth then spit them out. i don't think he had any down his throat. i might have to go back to worms if this continues.

Just an update. Bought bloodworms the other day and the rainbows are feeding fine now. Thank you guys for the suggestions. :D Will switch back to flakes to see how they react. The bluexxxx had only a few of those worms, while the bosemani was literally attacking them. But none other fish in...

barbs were long gone.... they co-existed with the neons for about 1 day and were sent back to LFS. i added a pack of black gravel yesterday, maybe that shocked and killed those two???

my daily sadly report - 2 more deaths... i'm down to 22. yeah i'd like to keep cardinals, too. but 1) they need even softer water than neon, my water is too hard, and 2) my trusted LFS don't sell cardinals... or maybe they do but they're hot items i never get to see them.

2 more deaths yesterday. 4 out of 30 i could accept, 6 out of 30 is bad... apparently this is not going very well...
