I just got some clowns, and I put them in a qt to check out any diseases. I didn't have time to monitor them that day, and a day later i saw a clown with extremely rapid breathing. What's wrong with it?

I currently have 2 juvie angelfish and about 15-20 guppies. If I add 5 discus and 2 more angelfish, and removed all the guppies, would that be fine for stocking? So in total 5 discus and 2 angelfish. I have a Fluval 405 and a mediumly-planted tank. I can add an AC70 if the filtration isn't enough.

What kind of substrate mix do you guys use?

Suppose you have two filters inside a fully established aquarium, would it affect the amount of ammonia and nitrate the filter can handle if you took one out? In other words would it affect the tank at all if you removed one of two filters?

I just recently received a 55 gallon tank, just finished cycling, and I'm wondering what to stock it with. I'm thinking 3-4 Angelfish, 2 Clown Loaches, and a school of 6-10 Danios or Rasboras. My only concern is the Angelfish eating the Danios or Rasboras, any thoughts? :nono:
