    protrusions?

    This is just a curiosity. I have a gold algae eater and I just noticed two small protrusions about where a "nose" would be, what are they?

    Using Streamwater?

    Just as a curiosity I have many streams and ponds near my home, would it be doable (but not necessarily advisable) to use that water for a tropical aquarium - assuming I raise it to the proper temp - or would there be too much of a consideration for disease, foreign bacteria, etc... ?

    Betta Help!!

    Recently (like the past week) my male betta has not been very active at all. It seems like all he wants to do is hide in an atrificial cave I have set up. He doesn't even chase the female betta like he should. Could he be ill? I have also just recently gotten my aquarium to it's current fish...
