    Bowfront or Standard?

Hmmm. Thanks so much for the votes and comments so far! I'm leaning toward standard... one reason being the fact that I'm not overly crazy on plastic stands. I'd prefer a nice oak with canopy and bowfronts get pricey with custom stands. For anyone following this thread, I found an informative...

    Bowfront or Standard?

Ntswift, I meant a stool as a means to reach within a deep tank ;) I personally prefer a natural reef look over shelving.

    Bowfront or Standard?

Definitely... I just wonder how photography would turn out. I'd also require a stool to do anything frag-wise!

    Bowfront or Standard?

Hello! It's been a while since I've posted. Glad to see it's still an awesome community. I am trying to decide whether to purchase a 175g bowfront reef-ready system or have my 135g standard tank drilled. Money isn't the issue - I just would like to see what others prefer. I've only seen stocked...

    Profile: Clownfish

My false percs hosted with a colt coral. They used to hover above the pw at night. About a week after adding a colt to the tank, they hung around it during the day and then by 2 weeks, they were sleeping in it at night. It's home sweet home for them.

    Home Sweet Home! DIY Cave...

I don't recall exactly how much gravel it took to make my cave, but I simply took out a few cups worth (to match the tank) and let it dry out for the project.

    Is This a Parasite?

Thanks :( I was afraid of that. I'm working on setting up a tank (new home) for everyone. Hopefully I can starve it. They need blood to survive right? Am I correct in assuming that a fishless tank will starve it? Can I leave my snails and hermit crabs for cleanup? For the record... I was...

    Is This a Parasite?

Help! How do I get rid of this? Well, all was well for a few months... Our Regal Tang likes to sleep inbetween some rock in the sandbed at night. The exact same type of "isopod" (although a bit larger than the original culprit) was attached to her for the good part of today. She was irritated...

    Home Sweet Home! DIY Cave...

Sorry for not checking back in so long :( I'm not sure what hubby used to cut the pipe with... he did it in the garage. I asked him to cut it so it would lay "flat" on the substrate and also because I didn't want to run into any problems with anyone outgrowing the cave and getting stuck...
