I just put in right in my tank. Changed 50% water next day. Some plants are stressed, but so was my dad when he used to get chemo.

Well, try a few ounces of hydrogen peroxide. Then make a water change the next day. Hard on plants but will kill BBA.

My light is 55 watts by the way.

Well! I used some Excell, and then I decided to put in 3 1/2 ounces of hydrogen peroxide. I am not going to monkey with cleaning each plant because I'd never get it all. That black dot algae has to go, and I got it from Petsmart! JimmyA

I have had my tank for a year.

I light 8 hours a day. I have not had time to check my light, but it's a normal 6500 kv light. Been letting water changes go too far up to 2 weeks. Normally change 30% a week. This black spot algae is getting all over my tank, going to ruin my plants.

I knew the light last year, but I forgot. I'll have to check but think maybe 6500 kv not sure.

Well I have 8 hours of light, good strong light. No Co2 and I fertilize with pellets. This algae came on a plant from Petsmart. Any way to get rid of it? Have rock bottom.

The fry is so small my camera wouldn't do justice. I only saw it once yesterday. They are so small, good thing I have lots of java moss! Thanks for asking though.
