First of all it is not advised for you to keep 2 Bettas(of either sex) together in the same tank, unless it's divided. You said the snails have brown shells? They sound like Malaysian Trumpet Snails...which are fine. I would also advise you to remove a female Betta, just to be safe

I have a 10 gal. community and I'm having trouble with what looks like brown algae. Does a Nerite eat brown algae good? Could I even put one in with 3 Platies, 2 Ghosts and a Betta? Am I Overstocked? Or is there any other creature that you can find in most stores I could put in? Thx

If your worried about if they are "sad" because they haven't spawned it's ok. If your Bettas never spawn in their life it's ok! I IMO would say yes, as it's is a long and difficult process for them. I don't see how you would get the eggs. It's ok if they don't spawn. Has your male made...

Bettas!(duh, look at my username ;-D) They just have so unique personalities! And every fish is different. Their aggressiveness is their biggest downside, females being the only ones you can keep together. Imagine a 10 gal. with several males(if they weren't so aggressive)!

Does anyone know where I could get Micro Rasboras in Houston, TX? Preferably around the west side, towards Katy, Stafford and Sugarland. If I can't find Rasboras. Could I do: 1 Dwarf Gourami(Or Dwarf Flame Gourami) 6 Cardnal Tetras 6 Pygmy Cories? Or would that be over-stocking?

I use Prime. Well I don't have a test kit, but I made frequent trips to the pet store to have it tested. As I said it took about a week and a half and my parameters were perfect! And your not bothering me :-)
