I wouldn't worry about your Corys too much. You would be surprised at what they manage to find to eat. I have 6 Angelfish and a school of Corys and it doesn't matter how much I feed the Angels they still move on to the Corys food when they're done.
My Corys must be getting enough from somewhere...
One of my dwarf Gouramis got stuck in one of the holes in the shipwreck that's in their tank. We've freed him and he seems happy enough, swimming fine and using all of his fins, but he seems to have slightly damaged some of his scales. Does anyone know if they will repair themselves?
He looks very happy and what a great pic you've managed to get of him with all of his fins wide open.
I have 2 Bristlenose Plecos. They are still quite young (6 months old at the most) but that doesn't stop the male being the boss of the whole tank.
They are all beautiful. The marble Angelfish is huge, I can't wait until my little man gets that big. Sadly I lost my marble one a few weeks ago :(
I love how they all have their own little personalities too.
All of my Angels make me laugh how they can have just been fed, but still swim to the...
This is my 5ft tropical tank. I have in it 2 Angelfish, 2 Flame Red Gouramis, 1 Blue Gourami, 1 Three Spot Gourami, 2 Sterbai Corydoras, 8 Zebra Danios, 6 Cherry Barbs, 5 Pristella Tetras & 2 Bristlenose Plecos.
Of course I do. I was meaning specifically the broccoli lol. There is always plenty of algae for them to eat anyway, they are still young and I have a huge 5ft tank for them to be going at, but I still feed them at least a few times per week anyway.
I alternate algae wafers, sinking pellets...
I alternate what I feed them so probably about twice a month at the most.
I put quite small florets in (1 for each of my plecs). I put all of the floret in, but they don't generally eat the stalk part, I usually have to fish it out with a net.
It's great because it sinks on it's own too, after...
Do you have any bog wood in your tank? When we had a smaller aquarium the bog wood used to make the water have a dark greeny/brown tint to it, even though we soaked the bog wood before putting it in the tank.
My two go mad for raw cucumber and they also love blanched broccoli. I have fed them peas a few times but my Gouramis tend to scoff them all ip before the poor plecs even get a look in.
They get more beautiful every day. I've had them since they were tiny babies and they didn't really have any markings or colourings on them, they were just a boring brown colour, but as they are growing there is some beautiful markings coming out on them.
Oh yes, they know where they can go to...
I have 1 male and 1 female Bristlenose Plecos in my tank. The male is the dominant one but the female knows her place so we don't have any problems.
They are beautiful, easy to keep and get on fine with all of my other fishes. They also earn their keep by keeping my tank clean :).
Mine are...
