Yeah i will be using sand yeah the bio filters should do good but to bad i cant hurry up and get this tank started is because I'm fit to move i got a lot of work to do to it imma build a custom stand still gotta put wood on the top of it to have that clean look etc

My oscars are 7-8inches i feed them cichilds stick & pellets

Can someone help me i have 2 oscars & ive had them for 10 months now but lately they ben acting weird when i turn the aquarium light on they will sit at the bottom like they are bout to die.but when i turn it off they swim around like normal do anybody know what this means

Yeah I think like this us humans don't like eating the same thing over & over why should fish have to so I feed them something different everyday that's why I think they are so healthy I've had these oscars for 7-8 months now & not one of then haven't got sick yet

Thanks umm you might not agree on what I feed them I feed them flakes,pellets,ham,blood worms,French fries, fish cooked rice they love cooked rice ,noodles etc for some reason they really don't like bread & etc
